The Institute of Business Consulting:

The Institute of Business Consulting is the professional body for consultants and business advisors. Designed to raise standards of professional practice in support of better business performance, the Institute provides a development path for the profession, supported by high quality resources and a recognised qualification route.

The Institute was formed in April 2007 following the merger of the Institute of Business Advisors and the Institute of Management Consultancy. Although a relatively new Institute, it boasts a membership of over 7,000 individual members as well as nearly 200 practice members.

The Institute is committed to enhancing performance by raising the professional standards of those working in a business consulting role in order to raise the profile of the profession.
