The new Centre for Excellence in Business Coaching & Consulting (CfeX) team celebrated last week by giving each other a 'HIGH Five'. Why? After three months of intense develooment, the final preparations were put in place ready for first group of 40+ business coaches due to start the High Growth Coach Professional Development Programme.
Keith Willdig (CfeX Programme Leader) said, "We are so excited about finally going live - we have had 140+ applications from business coaches and advisors for the initial fifteen places on the first programme. In response to this we agreed with emda who is sponsoring CfeX to increase the number of places to 45".
The first two programmes start on 18 and 20 March with speakers including Phillip Jones (Business Support Development Manager - High Growth, emda), Lynda Purser (Institute for Business Consulting Director) as well as other key members of IBC.
Business Advisors have already completed the new Management Perspectives for Business Advisors 360 degree skills assessment. They can look forward to completing e-assessment modules as well as using CfeX's on-line learning and assessment systems such as Management Matrix.
"We are so proud to be part of emda's High Growth Programme and to be responsible for the development of business coaches and advisors", said CfeX Director, John Moore.
The High Growth CPD Programme incorporates a tremendous range of learning and assessment modules including live webinars, and a set of specially designed modules as part of the High Growth Series (i.e. pod casts, workshops and e-learning modules).
The newly appointed Learning Centre Manager, Kerry Amos added, "I believe the state of the art learning and assessment systems we are using will help us to provide the East Midlands with a resource other regions will envy!"
