Exponential is pleased and excited to have been chosen by emda to be involved with its new High Growth Programme which is due to be launched at the end of January.

Exponential will lead and drive the continuous professional development of practising and potential high growth coaches supporting the programme, ensuring that East Midlands companies have the highest calibre of business support professionals available to them.

The newly created Centre for Excellence in Business Coaching & Consulting (CfeX) will deliver the 12 month professional development programme which will include a blend of learning and assessment activities designed for actual and potential high growth coaches. The programme can lead to the award of the Diploma in Business Support and includes a one year membership of the Chartered Management Institute - meeting the Institute of Business Consulting National Register and membership requirements.

Initially, CfeX will offer the following range of Core and Supplementary modules:

• Planning for High Growth
• Directing High Growth
• Financing High Growth

• Creating and Sustaining a Growth Culture
• Improving Operations
• Accounting for Growth

CfeX will source material from wherever appropriate to best facilitate the development of the coaches. Consequently, coaches and organisations are invited to tender for writing one or more of the modules. It is planned to source other learning and development modules in a variety of media by a similar tender process.

The High Growth Coach Professional Development Programme

Cfex will also be delivering a series of development programmes especially for business coaches and consultants. The aim of the programme is to develop coaches to better understand the needs and challenges faced by potential and actual high companies.

Anyone interested in learning more about this programme should e-mail juana@exponentialtraining.co.uk and register thier interest. By Thursday 31 January, you will be sent a detailed explanation of the programme and an application form.

The first programme will commence at the end of March 2008 with further programmes scheduled for later in the year. The programme combines a mix of:

• One-to-one coaching and mentoring elements
• On-line learning modules
• A residential course
• Skills benchmarking using Management Perspectives for Consultants
• Professional discussions and observation and feedback of working with clients.

To qualify for this programme which is funded by emda, coaches and consultants must have clinets based in the East Midlands region and have atleast two years expereince as a business coach or consultant.
