Business Advisors Get a New Perspective on Things! - 17 February 2008
The newly established Centre for Excellence in Business Coaching & Consulting (CfeX) is delighted to announce the launch of its new 360 degree assessment tool for business coaches, consultants and advisors.
Using Exponential's tried and tested skills benchmarking system, Management Perspectives, CfeX has developed an assessment tool designed for Business Support Professionals.
Centre Director, John Moore said, "This benchmarking tool provides invaluable feeback for business coaches and advisors about their performance across six Core Skills and 24 Specific Skills."
In addition to a report summarising the results of the 360 degree assessment, advisors also recieve a set of 24 development suggestions designed to further improve performance. The six Core Skills covered by the assessment are:
- Client Understanding
- Client Relationship
- Client Change Management
- Advisor Impact
- Advisor Effectiveness
- Managing Change
CfeX has incorporated Management Perspectives into the High Growth Coach Professional Development Programme and will be using the results to agree a Personal Development Plan (PDP) with each business advisor being sponsored by emda.
In addition to providing the basis of the PDP, the aggregate data will be used to develop a unique benchmarking database and to inform CfeX of learning and development needs of business advisors - thus enabling the development of new learning modules to help advisors with their Continuous Professional Development.
