The Business Advisor Benchmark Project
Business coaches and consultants play a key role in helping businesses to improve performance and profitability, yet little is known about their skills and performance. This is about to change with the launch of a major benchmark research project being undertaken by CfeX.
CfeX has set up the Business Advisor Benchmarking Project involving the assessment of 200 business support professionals over the next 12 months.
Regional Development Agencies, Business Links and enterprise agencies spend millions on business support initiatives and so we need our business coaches and consultants to be the best. The Business Advisor Benchmarking Project will provide an invaluable insight into the skills and development needs of this important group of people.
Business coaches and advisors will be assessed in six Core Skills and 24 Specific Skills. Whilst the research data will be invaluable, everyone taking part will also receive a detailed report including a set of 24 development suggestions designed to further improve performance.
