Grants for Business Coaches and Consultants
Investing in continuous professional development is always important, but never more so than in turbulent times, especially when grants are available. The grants are not always easy to find, but they are there if you know where to look!
For example, in the East Midlands, aspiring and experienced business coaches can take part in the High Growth Coach Professional Development Programme. Coaches can choose to complete either the Diploma in Business Support or the Diploma in Strategic Business Coaching. The 12 – 15 month programme is sponsored as part of HighGrowth East Midlands and includes use of the High Growth Series (e-learning modules), on-line and face-to-face coaching as well as access to topical webinars, podcasts and networking events. There are 25 places in the 2009 programme and applications are being taken now.
Nationally, many business coaches can access grants for their own professional development of £500 (no matched funding required), £1000 (£250 matched funding required) and £1500 (£500 matched funding required). There are some eligibility criteria, but once approved grants can be used with any of CfeX’s learning and assessment programmes including:
